The Arsensals are a little tougher to come by. They don't seem to be that much more expensive than the stamped receiver ones, maybe something like $50 to $100 or so.The only difference I can find is that the bolt for the stamped MAK has a cylindrical profile at the portion labeled "6" below (same as in the illustration), and the one for the milled AK has that same portion milled flat. As the MAK uses milled components in the camber/locking area, I don't think you'll find any dimensional differences .On another, the rear trunnion rivets loosened enough to cause the intra-receiver space to lengthen enough to cause the bolt carrier to jam open. Now the front trunnion rivets are beginning to loosen on my 3rd AK-47. I've never fired a milled AK-47, but trunnion rivet loosening would be eliminated as a potential problem with a milled receiver.Aside from the regular receiver differences between milled and stamped, the stamped has a bolt with lightning cuts in it to reduce weight, as well as different front and rear trunnions.
